The Cheshire and North Wales Law Society headed to St Asaph this week for their committee meeting, ahead of a Residential Property Law Update seminar.
Over 35 delegates attending the early evening event at Glyndwr University. Paul Butt, consultant solicitor at Rowlinsons solicitors in Frodsham, Cheshire provided a concise and comprehensive review of recent case law and other developments in the field of residential property. Particular attention was given to the increasing problem of fraud and the liability of law firm’s for third party fraud. Certainly, the seminar highlighted internal procedures that firms need to be on top of.
