The seminar will cover:
  • Consideration of the case law on SOSR dismissals
  • A look at established reasons that fall under SOSR, including mobility clauses and expiry of fixed term contracts
  • Practical tips on relying on and dealing with SOSR dismissals


Jamie Jenkins is a specialist employment barrister who has represented both high net worth individuals and national companies in a range of employment disputes. He has particular experience in the area of discrimination and has been recognised in the Legal 500 as being recommended for discrimination cases

Jamie’s broad expertise results in him practising in other areas of law. He receives instructions in Education and Sports law, both in the context of employment and discrimination disputes and on more discrete legal issues in those areas. He also practises in commercial law, predominantly in contractual and related disputes.

Jamie has recently been appointed to sit as a Fee-Paid Judge of the First Tier Tribunal.
