SUMMARY:Family Walk with Liverpool Law Society
DESCRIPTION:Saturday 7th September 2019\n10.15am\nHilbre Island\, West Kirby\, The Wirral \nLiverpool Law Society and Cheshire & North Wales Law Society invite members to a family social day\, as we walk out from the stunning Wirral coast to Hilbre Island (and back!). \nJoining information \nMeet at the slip way on South Parade at West Kirby adjacent to the Wirral Sailing Centre CH48 0QG at 10:15 am. \nThe walk will take approximately one hour to reach the island\, with approximately 45 minutes on the island and an hour to return. We expect to arrive back in West Kirby around 1pm. \nCome along \nIf you would like to take part in the walk please email Carol.Draycott@law.ac.uk with details of how many people are in your party so numbers can be managed and we know who to expect on the day. \nWhat to wear – advice from friends of Hilbre Island \nAlways dress appropriately according to the local weather conditions. \nWear sensible footwear as rocks\, barnacles and slippy seaweed can cause injury. There might be broken glass to look out for. Even when the tide is out the beach can be wet and there are rock pools on the islands – don’t wear your best shoes. \nFurther details about walking to Hilbre Island can be found at the following link: \nhttps://www.hilbreisland.co.uk/getting-there/

SUMMARY:Male Champions For Change Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:EVENT POSTPONED – NEW DETAILS TO FOLLOW\nGender Equality in the Legal Profession\nFree to all legal professionals \n\nThe National Law Society continues to look at the issue of gender equality in the legal profession. Last year\, the society ran a series of roundtable discussions across the country\, with females only\, the results of which have been published nationally.
