About the speakers:
DJ Watkin is one of our own. She trained as a solicitor in Chester before becoming a partner and head of property solutions (litigation) in a large commercial firm in Liverpool and Manchester. She was subsequently called to the bar where she continued to specialise in Business and Property matters before being appointed as a District Judge in 2021 sitting in North Wales. She is a specialist Business and Property Court judge and also sits in the property chamber and General Regulatory Chamber, where specialises in freedom of information claims.
Julian Shaw is a prominent figure in the legal community.
