It will also include a review of the tax sections of CPSE forms, looking at their purpose and the key information requirements – and the potential impact of getting it wrong.
The seminar will cover the following essential property tax issues:
- CPSE forms – getting the tax questions right
- VAT developments – including the introduction of a new ‘reverse charge’ for construction services, and some key case law decisions
- SDLT/LTT – overview of the changes in recent years and the importance of getting the correct distinction between residential or non-residential
- Leases – an overview of the tax treatment of inducements to enter a lease or payments to exit a lease, from the perspective of both the landlord and tenant
